On November 17, the International Round Table “Practices of GR and lobbying in Eastern Europe and Asia” brought together the best specialists in the areas of Government Relations, Government Affairs, lobbying and advocacy from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic and other countries: Askar Sydykov, Executive Director of the International Business Council; Vahan Hovhannisyan, a professional in the field of External Relations in the information technology company “Ripe NCC”; Ayazhan Uteuova, who heads the consulting company “Personal Project” and many others. GR and lobbying are actively developing, which is why, finding possible ways to promote GR is an efficient thing in different countries.

At the round table speakers discussed the achievements and problems of lobbying in the countries of Asia and Eastern Europe, and also considered ways to solve them. Regarding the mentioned countries, it is essential to learn how to conduct and develop a correct dialogue between business and government. Institutions, which are now going through a period of formation and comprehensive reform, need a professional approach to the development of successful cooperation between governmental and non-governmental structures.
