AI Search Reputation Defense

Correct the evidence behind adverse AI answers and search results.

AI search reputation defense for executives, founders, family offices, and companies facing mistaken identity, outdated allegations, or incomplete context in Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other answer systems. We document the exact answer, trace cited sources, prioritize factual corrections, and build a verifiable public record with counsel-aligned communications.

The mandate

Turn a fragmented high-stakes matter into one controlled operating plan.

An adverse answer is an observed output, not a stable public fact about a model. It can change with wording, language, date, account context, and source availability. Our work starts with a reproducible evidence log and separates a false source, stale search copy, mistaken identity, unsupported synthesis, and accurate but unfavorable reporting. Each requires a different route: source correction, a platform process, clearer entity evidence, or a substantive response to the underlying issue.

A founder is confused with another person in an AI answer, sanctions profile, news summary, or due diligence report.
Old allegations are repeated without a later dismissal, correction, appeal, remediation, or change of status.
A transaction, bank review, appointment, or market entry is being affected by inconsistent search and AI summaries.

What the client team can use.

The exact scope follows the facts, jurisdiction, counsel guidance, and deadline. These are practical working materials, not generic thought leadership.

01

Answer and source audit

A dated query set with exact wording, language, platform, output, citations, and observed context. We record variability and distinguish visible citations from hypotheses about uncited training data; we do not claim access to a provider’s internal model or ranking signals.

02

Entity and fact matrix

A source-by-source comparison of identity, dates, ownership, procedural status, and disputed claims. Each proposed correction has supporting documents and a named approver. Similar names or indirect associations never become proof of identity, ownership, misconduct, or sanctions exposure.

03

Correction and response pack

Evidence-based requests to the original publisher or platform, plus a counsel-approved factual response for banks, investors, journalists, and counterparties. We distinguish a correction request, a privacy request, a search removal process, and deletion of the original source.

04

Authoritative public record

Accurate biography, dated statements, accessible documents, consistent entity identifiers, and useful explanatory pages. Structured data reflects visible facts. Robots and canonical checks support discoverability; they do not promise a citation, answer change, ranking, or indexing decision.

Operating sequence

From first signal to controlled execution.

Initial conflict and scope review within one business day; the first 72-hour plan follows the agreed facts, counsel availability, and deadline.

01

0–24 hours: preserve the output

Capture the exact adverse answer and cited URLs before they change. Identify the business consequence and deadline, check identities, and avoid placing sensitive documents into a public chatbot as an informal test.

02

24–48 hours: establish the facts

Trace the original source, verify later procedural developments, and classify each disputed statement. Counsel reviews legal and privacy routes. The working record identifies what can be proven, what is disputed, and what remains unknown.

03

48–72 hours: choose correction routes

Prepare prioritized publisher or platform requests, a controlled fact sheet, and an entity-page update plan. Separate rapid stakeholder reassurance from longer source correction and recrawling work. Platform response time is outside our control.

04

Monitor and verify

Repeat the same documented query set and source checks at agreed intervals. Report observed changes and remaining variants, including answers that did not change. A successful correction of one source is not reported as removal from every model or search result.

Questions before engagement

What this work is, and what it is not.

Can you guarantee removal from ChatGPT or Google?

No. Providers, publishers, search systems, and courts control their own decisions. We can document errors, prepare supported requests, improve accurate public sources, and report observed outcomes without promising universal removal.

Is llms.txt required for AI visibility?

No. It can organize public reference links, but Google states there are no special AI files or additional technical requirements for its AI search features. Ordinary crawlability, useful text, indexing eligibility, and accurate structured data remain relevant.

What if the negative information is accurate?

We do not fabricate denials, reviews, authors, or coverage. The appropriate response may be accurate context, documented remediation, a clear current status, and direct communication with affected stakeholders.

Can a deleted source still appear in an answer?

Yes, an observed answer may draw on other copies, search data, cached context, or a different source. We distinguish the deleted URL from remaining publications and log actual outputs rather than assuming a provider has updated.

How is progress measured?

By verified source corrections, completed platform requests, consistent entity evidence, stakeholder readiness, and changes observed in a fixed query set. AI output and search rankings vary; one favorable answer is not evidence of complete remediation.

SIC Group provides strategic communications and public affairs support. Legal, regulatory, scientific, clinical, and procurement conclusions require the appropriate qualified professionals. No meeting, agency decision, award, approval, removal, ranking, or AI citation is guaranteed.
