Political strategist and public affairs expert, and CEO of SIC Group, Kateryna Odarchenko, participated in the Jewish American Heritage Month Luncheon held in the historic Kennedy Caucus Room of the Russell Senate Office Building. The event honored the rich legacy and ongoing contributions of Jewish Americans to the United States and brought together over 10 members of Congress and more than 20 representatives from the Diplomatic Corps.
Odarchenko attended the luncheon alongside her colleagues from SIC Group, engaging with U.S. lawmakers, diplomats, and civil society leaders. The gathering provided a platform for reflecting on Jewish-American heritage, resilience, and social impact — particularly relevant in the current global climate.
A standout moment was a speech from Senator Jacky Rosen (Nevada), the only Jewish woman serving in the U.S. Senate, who addressed the urgent need to combat antisemitism, declaring: “Antisemitism has no place in our society, and no damn place anywhere.” Representative Elissa Slotkin (Michigan) shared her family’s immigration story from Minsk to the United States — a powerful narrative of survival, dedication, and contribution to American society.

“As a political strategist, I believe it’s essential to acknowledge the positive contributions of all communities. The Jewish community’s role in shaping our institutions, science, and culture is profound,” said Kateryna Odarchenko. “Listening to these stories was a reminder of how shared history builds bridges and strengthens democracy.”
Odarchenko also reflected on the words of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, emphasizing shared responsibility: “If you see what needs to be repaired and how to repair it, then you have found a piece of the world that God has left for you to complete.”

The luncheon was part of the official U.S. Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM) commemorations, serving as a reminder of the enduring contributions of Jewish Americans and the importance of continued intercommunal dialogue and understanding.
